Nah man, nothing wrong with that. I've always had a weird soft spot for bitmap images, so Hussie's Problem Sleuth and Early Homestuck art were stuff I gravitated towards in terms of digital art. There were also those 4chan /v/-Tan comics, the numerous boss portraits from TBoI, all those Flipnotes uploaded to YouTube, arcade game art, and a few NSFW sources I can't mention here in the review section (lmao).

The big drawback to using this style is having a limited number of pixels on the canvas, so it means less room for detail. Less room for gradients and finer line art. I'm not a sprite artist, nor a good artist in general, so the best I can manage in this space is varying line weight and a few flat colors.
